THE SKY ISN'T EVEN THE LIMIT

Hello My Loves!

What a time this is!  I am so happy to be able to share all the exciting things going on and I am not going to curb my exclamation marks for anything because LIFE IS THAT AMAZING!!!

So welcome to an exuberant update!

Basically, the best way to describe it is that in the darkness of the last few years, something was gestating. Like the proverbial cocoon, everything kind of turned into a primordial soup and reformed into something I never could have imagined.

I wrote a book with HarperCollins and a few days ago we found out it was an INSTANT NATIONAL BESTSELLER AND YES THAT HAS TO BE IN CAPS BECAUSE ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Song of the Sparrow is flying off the shelves thanks to fans and friends and my INCREDIBLE team in Canada and the UK!

The book is getting stunning reviews that leave me completely humbled, and the Canadian and UK press is beyond supportive. I’m so thankful. The best part though, is that I am getting letters from readers who are sharing their survival stories with me. The more we let others into our stories, the lighter we feel. My dream for this book was exactly this, and everyone is making it come true. Keep 'em coming! Even if I can't respond right away, I promise I am reading every word.

As if that wasn’t good enough, the album that I made to go with the book (produced by Daniel Ledwell) is NOW AVAILABLE! It’s called Sparrow and we have three singles out so far, If I FallSparrow and Let Her Feel the Rain, and a new one out today called Lay Here in the Dark, followed by another exciting single in May that is a surprise! Big shout out to Factor Canada for making that possible!

I have begun a book tour that started on March 14th in BC. Salt Spring Island, followed by Victoria and Vancouver, and now I’ll be headed to Calgary, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and Charlottetown, with hopefully new dates added as we go. A MASSIVE thank you to PLM Law and Brown's Volkswagen in Charlottetown for being my very generous sponsors! None of this happens without patrons.

I suppose what I am trying to say is that we all know life has highs and lows, and I feel like I have climbed the highest mountain from one of my lowest valleys and it’s amazing. I want to bring you here with me so we can look at the view together. It’s breathtaking. And I am planning to fly higher from here. The sky isn't even the limit.

Thank you for staying tuned into the music and my news. It means everything to me to be able to share it all, at every turn along this road, with you.

Deep Love, Tara
